I’ve had a recent [not so great] experience with a tenant who basically demolished the place (or, at least it felt like a whirlwind picked everything up and threw everything down within the apartment).
I’m curious to know, have any of your tenants completely ruined your property? If so, what steps did you take aside from the pretty obvious eviction process?
Sadly, there isn’t much you can do. The best advice is to do everything you can to not end up in a situation like this. That means only renting to people with good home references and not taking chances on people. I know it can be stressful and feel like there’s a lot of pressure on you when your rental is vacant, but try your best to avoid putting yourself in a relationship you will regret in the future.
