How many photos do you include in a rental listing?

I was looking through some local listings this morning and noticed a huge range—some owners post 40+ high-res photos of every nook and cranny, while others just stick to 5 or 6 “hero” shots of the main rooms.

I’ve heard some landlords say that too many photos actually discourage people from booking a tour because they feel like they’ve already seen it all. On the flip side, others argue that more photos help filter out disinterested leads before they even reach out.

Where do you land on this? What’s your “sweet spot” number of photos for a standard 2-bedroom unit?
