Tenant paid security deposit via portal payment system 2 days ago - how long does it take to post to my account? ---

If you click on the “View” button next to the payment the deposit date will be located under the status bar. If you click the down arrow on the right side you can see more details. ---

Greetings! I have a tenant who received their tax return and would like to pay the balance on their rent without having to select each monthly payment. Is it possible to pay more than the monthly rent listed for the month? ---

Hi @Staysea I don’t think it is possible (I haven’t seen anything like that myself) but you can ask Avail customer service (contact info is at the bottom of the [avail.co](http://avail.co) home page) and they may know how or some workarounds. When I accepted a bulk payment, tenant gave me a cashier’s check, which I then applied to each invoice and marked it paid in Avail. In Avail you can create invoices by hand, so I suppose you could also create one invoice and detail what it represents, let thenant pay it, then delete the others that it covered. (Perhaps Avail will allow you set the individual invoices to 0.00 and make a reference to the builk invoices that paid it? I haven’t tried this before, I don’t know if it would work.) Whatever you end up doing, ensure it has a very solid audit trail of what was due when and how it was paid, so there can be no confusion on what was done. ---

Hi @Staysea! Chiming in to share that the Avail platform is designed for monthly rent payments. However, creating a charge with the total amount due is certainly an option. Transactions are capped at $20K/week per tenant, and large lump-sum payments may require additional verification and authorizations. Hope this helps!
