Hi everyone, I am new to the renting scene and trying to do it all on my own I don’t know where to start or what paperwork needs to be done can anyone give me some tips? Thanks! ---

One of the most important things to do is get familiar with the landlord/tenant laws in your jurisdiction. You can do that by going to your county/city government website. ---

Go here: [Landlord Books - Nolo](https://store.nolo.com/products/landlord-tenant/landlord-books) Pick any two books, buy them and read them. After you’ve done that look for your local landlord association. Join. Use all their resources. Good Luck. ---
