My tenant has been renting my property for over 2 years. Lease started 04/01/2021. When setting up this tenant for online payment in Avail today, do I put in a start date for the lease of 2021-04-01? or the date that payments via Avail will start such as 2032-12-01?

@rsbosland7 Consider giving Avail customer service a call, they can help you figure out what approach would work the best for your situation. Their contact info is at the bottom of the [avail.co](http://avail.co) home page. I do recommend you call rather than email as it will be easier to discuss options.

From my own experience with the platform, you can have the tenants sign a new lease in Avail, that starts with your next rent payment (12/01/2023). That can be another external lease or you can decide to go with an online Avail digital lease. You can attach your current lease to this lease as a reference, if you like. This is what I have done in the past.

But I know there are other options and variations, and there are different options if you are a paid member of Avail vs. a free user, so I think customer service is your best chance at getting up and running.
