# Deportations & Fair Housing Act

Good Evening! How will Deportations affect leasing as it relates to the Fair Housing Act, processing applications, doing background checks, etc? Would ICE need a warrant to enter an apartment or can they break the door down? Would the repair costs fall onto the Landlord?

We currently use a Property Management real estate group for all our application screening and we do not know whether or not we have any undocumented tenants. We get who we get; we meet our new tenants when they move in. (We are onsite landlords.)
