# Belongings left after eviction

I evicted a tenant after 4 months of non-payment. I was very pleased that they moved out as requested. I initially only collected 1st month and security so I’m out the rest but they’re gone and I can live with that.  
My issue is they left some belongings behind I’m sure they don’t want. I don’t want any of it and don’t want to store it and just want it gone. Can I just bring it to their new house and leave it there? It’s a single house with a big lawn.

@MZM Welcome. City state your rental is located in? What you can do varies with law applicable to your rental’s location. Also, is there anything in your lease about this type of situation?

Putting stuff on their lawn would be trespassing.

Find your local/state laws for abandoned property.
