# Avail Lease - Custom Clause Formatting Removed

I am a little new to the Avail Lease. I’ve noticed the custom clauses removes all formatting, which creates 2 issues; lumps everything into one large paragraph; invalidates references where I refer back to a specific section (clause 4 paragraph 2(b) ).

Any suggestions?

Hi Michael, Nicole from the Avail Product team here, and thanks for reaching out to us about the clause issue. Sorry that it’s giving you trouble. I notified our engineering team and they will work on updating the clause formatting to accommodate for multiple paragraphs. As an alternative in the meantime, I would recommend creating a clause for each paragraph you intend on adding to the lease.
